"My work is inspired by both life experience and imagination. Collectively, the work tells a narrative using a provocative, visual language and a focus on drawing and printmaking techniques. Whether reflecting on the solace of being a gay man coming to grips with his identity or feeling haunted by the memory of being a child listening to my father manically playing the violin, my images tell stories that are relevant to what is going on in my life-both in the past and the present."
